What Is a Periodontist?
Dr. Capati is a specialist in periodontics and implantology. Periodontists complete three years of additional training beyond general dental education, specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of all forms of gum disease, including gingivitis (early gum disease), gingival recession, and periodontitis (advanced gum disease).
Dr. Capati also performs bone grafting and implant placement procedures at our Festus office, making the life-changing advantages of dental implants accessible to nearly every patient.
